Recipe from Kristin on Oat Groats...................................
You soak oat groats overnight and drain. Pour maple syrup or honey (drizzle it) on it and eat like oatmeal. And it is “live” not cooked so you get the benefits of a live food that does not drain your enzyme supply. My kids really like it. You can put it in the blender to make the consistency like oatmeal but mine prefer it to be like a cold cereal texture since you do not heat it so it will have its enzymes intact. I make awesome cookies out of it too and dehydrate them so they are “live” cookies. It is something the kids can have for breakfast with mom’s blessing. =========================================================================
